Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

SmithLife Homecare is currently seeking passionate, upbeat, and hardworking certified nursing assistants who hold a valid license in Maryland. We offer multiple schedule options, including morning, evening, and night shifts. As a nursing agency, SmithLife Homecare provides caregivers with the flexibility to select their preferred cases and availability. Each case involves one-on-one care, allowing caregivers to focus on a single client at a time.

Home Health Aide (HHA)

SmithLife Homecare is looking for home health aides that have a license in Washington, DC. We provide caregivers with a range of scheduling choices, such as morning, evening, and night shifts. As a nursing agency, we prioritize flexibility and allow caregivers to handpick their preferred cases and availability. Our focus is on delivering personalized one-on-one care for each client, enabling caregivers to dedicate their attention to a single individual at any given time.

Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)

SmithLife Homecare is looking for geriatric nursing assistants that have a license in the state of Maryland. Shifts come to us as needed from the facilities that we are contracted with, and caregivers can choose when they work based on their availability. All geriatric nursing assistants are expected to work on the floor of these facilities while assisting many different clients. Caregivers are expected to be motivated and hard-working.

  • Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting with bathroom
  • Ensuring clean, safe, and quality nursing services
  • Light housekeeping
  • Dementia care
  • Provide nutritional support
  • Report changes of client’s condition to nurse on duty
Qualifications:
  • Valid home geriatric nursing assistant license in Maryland
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • Two doses of the COVID Vaccine
  • Two years of experience as a certified nursing assistant
  • Recent Tuberculosis screening
  • Strong interpersonal skills

 

License Practical Nurses (LPN)

SmithLife Homecare is hiring licensed practical nurses to administer skilled nursing care to clients that are contracted with us. This will be performed in accordance with the plan of care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. We are looking for licensed practical nurses that are dedicated and hardworking to all clients and willing to help whenever necessary.

Job Duties include:
  • Ensure safe, skilled, and quality nursing care
  • Demonstrate excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Implement the nursing Plan of Care created by agency’s Director of Nursing
  • Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of observations, treatments, and care of client
  • Communicate with client’s family or friends to provide advice, comfort and instructions if required
Qualifications:
  • Valid licensed practical nurse license in the state of Maryland
  • At least three years of experience as a licensed practical nurse
  • Two doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Recent Tuberculosis screening
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Strong intrapersonal skills
